Good luck with that. It's not exactly a long term proposition.

Funny how that hypocrisy things works, isn't it? Reminds me of a little debate I had at my local gym a week or so ago when I stopped by to visit a buddy who owns the place, (I quit going and started working out at the house to minimize my commute.) Anyway, it's more of a "hardcore" gym where most people pin juice to get jacked, among those are several local police officers (surprise, surprise.)

One of the regulars there got popped recently when going home and they ended up finding a vial of testosterone which of course, wasn't prescribed. Luckily he knew the cops and they let him off, when he could of gotten in a decent pinch (some steroids are actually considered SCHEDULE 3 DRUGS, that's in the same category as meth, coke, oxy, fentanyl etc.) But the conversion got started about the legality of steroids etc, and how the media has massively over-hyped the health detriments of them, in order to demonize them and make the general public (those of which that get their info from mainstream media and preach it as gospel.) I interjected and mentioned how I thought it was ludicrous that as an adult male, you can't just walk into the doctors office like you could pre 1990 and tell your doc, "Hey Doc, I'm a healthy male, I take care of myself, I eat well, I workout, but I'm looking for an edge strength wise as well as aesthetically, that of which can not be obtained naturally."

Said doctor would prescribe you something basic, say some test/deca and over the next 12 weeks or so, you'd come in and get routine labs done to monitor your hormone levels etc, all safe. Rinse, repeat. No different than going in for depression, anxiety, thyroid, whatever. You go in, doc evaluates, prescribes this or that, and monitors you. Simple.

But you can't do that. If you tried, (unless you know the right folks, or are buddy, buddy with the doc,) you'll get a stupid look like you're crazy. But oh lord, if you're a woman, and you go in with a story that's convincing enough, they'll prescribe you MALE hormones (testosterone), to turn you into a ####ing dude and vice versa. Why? Because "feelings" that's why, how dare you tell me I can't be what I want to be in 2018. See the hypocrisy there?

As an adult, you should be able to go to your doctor, even if it's for something superficial like some test to get bigger and get the "right stuff" for the job and get on with it. Hell they do it for everything else in the book. You want bigger boobs? Cool, bigger ###? bigger lips? smaller nose? better cheeks? bigger dick? fat taken from anywhere on your body? wanna sew a fake pecker on? wanna cut your pecker off? pills to mitigate hunger? burn fat? feeling down? feeling blue? too hyper? can't focus? No problem! Why? Because people sat around and "decided" this was something THEY didn't agree with, so in 1990, that was the end of that. But everything else? IT's game on. Once something gets demonized enough and enough morons get behind it, well you can kiss it goodbye. Evidence be ######.

In closing, your comment about cigs is accurate. The same applies, and I'll use steroids as an example, how many people have actually died DIRECTLY from steroid use? Good luck finding an alarming rate for that, because it doesn't happen. Maybe if you abuse the hell out of them and shoot up IFBB pro type of drug stacks and walk around at 330lbs, you MIGHT suffer from heart attack or stroke after several YEARS, MAYBE. But shooting a little test or whatever to get that edge? Not remotely dangerous. Why do you think TRT has become so popular? The benefits speak for themselves, but you better have the testosterone readings of 12 year old girl before you get any prescribed to you (I'm being facetious).

But yet, I can go to the corner store and buy cancer in a box that kills on average 480,000 people a year, (number 1 in the nation) 41,000 of those from second hand smoke and it's all good, right? Or hell how about a 6 pack, or a 12 pack, or hell a whole case of beer? Why not throw some liquor in there? That only kills what? 88,000 annually? (number 3 in the nation) But it's all perfectly legal. It's all BS. The hypocrisy is everywhere. Why? Because "big brother" sits around in a room and decides what's "ok" and what's "not ok" and the deciding factor 99.99% of time is what it going the pad the BOTTOM LINE the most.

    Alright, rant over.

Global warming is HUGE business. All environmental is HUGE business.
That said, I believe SOME of it is real. Not all. But some. The truth, as always lies somewhere in the middle.

Ehh, somewhat. The athlete scenario is flawed, because 9 out 10 athletes are one some from of roids whether people want to believe it or not. You #### near HAVE to be to compete at that high of a level. I personally know 2 guys in the NFL, one of which was a great nose tackle for the bears, and the other is on the practice squad for the packers, among several folks I personally trained prior to attending D-1 schools for athletic scholarships. The drugs (steroids) are rampant, and they need to be. You see, the general public is flawed, they think drugs are "cheating" but ask anyone that you know who is invested in sports etc, they all WANT to see those big freaks of nature.

That's what it's about. It's all about passing drug tests, most of which they get the heads up for. You simply use short half life drugs that leave your system quicker. When there's millions of $$$$ on the line, guys will do whatever it takes. Polygraphs are not reliable, drug tests are not reliable because if you can do simple math you can pass them and the cost for doing year long randoms would be ridiculous and require too many resources. Take the Olympics for example, they supposedly have the most stringent drug testing in the world. Funny thing is, after the last Olympic games, they devised a new test that was able to catch ONE, just ONE additional anabolic compound, and what happened? They went back and tested the samples from various athletes. HUNDREDS popped positive. Why? Because gold medals are on the line. It's a joke. If folks like Lance ####ing Armstrong are pinning improve endurance for the Tour De France, you can bet your ### everyone else is other sports are shooting up as well. It's part of it.

Athletes were targeted because easy to get the public on board to demonize roids. But let's be honest, does the general public want to see 180 pound lineman running around, or 300 pound monsters? About the ONLY occupation that involves roids where they seemed to be directly related to death was Pro Wrestling through the 70's, 80's and 90's. Look at how many die from heart attacks and similar things. But not so fast, what else do they do? Well on the road the do large amounts of party drugs, drink alcohol likes it's going out style and beat the hell out of themselves. There's always an issue OTHER than steroids that causes these deaths, but the media won't tell you that. Why? Because it doesn't fit the agenda. I was going to mention one other thing that is a startling example occurring right now, that CLEARLY depicts the mainstream medias agenda that the general public is falling for, but I don't want to get banned for it so I'll end it all here. At the end of the day, regardless of new "laws" or "regulations" that have to with anything, there's usually an agenda, and it's RARELY for the genuine "betterment" of the American people.

Steroids brought baseball back to life in the late 80's and 90's.
And yea, if everyone is doing it, is anyone really cheating in that case lol???
