According to Howard Stern's show this morning, the guy who owns the company that owns DirecTV is interested in buying Sirius/XM's debt.

MAN, i HOPE they get it restructured if they file.
satellite radio is a GREAT entertainment instrument for us truckers.
i would be willing to pay DOUBLE what i pay now to ensure their success. i get WAAAY more than 13$$ a month worth of entertainment out of it.
I LOVE opie and anthony, BUT MAYBE some of these MULTI-MILLIONAIRE hosts (STERN TOO) should think about taking "one for the team"
IF they TRULY LOVE what they do, they WOULD.:biggrin_2554:

Simply put, Sirius paid way too much money for Howard. Then they went and got other big name people (Martha Stewart, Jamie Foxx, the entire NFL, etc.) and they borrowed money for all of it. I guess they're finding out now just how dumb of an idea some of that was.

i think that works in reverse TOO. the sports etc. get ALOT more coverage than they would otherwise. ESPECIALLY college.
i think i will Freak the hell out if sat radio goes down as a whole.
    like i said, i would GLADLY pay 25-30 a month for XM/serius

My next payment is due in two months, and unless things change, i won't be able to keep it turned on.

It sounds like someone will pick up the debt. Let's just hope they don't raise the prices, though, it's worth more to me than what it costs currently.
