What does it matter what number he gives you? Either you believe he's a driver or you don't.
Not everybody wants to give out their truck number on an open forum for security reasons. I sure don't, and most of the people working here already know which one I'm in.
Besides, if it was Tony spoofing, he's certainly capable of giving one that you'd never be prove he isn't a driver anyway, so let it go. Quit insulting the guy just because he disagreed with you.

I wish you the best and am glad you have found a different driving position that gives you more of what you are looking for. We are not a perfect fit for everyone. (thankfully) If you hear of anyone looking for a driving position, give them my number. Remember, I quit driving OTR for Magnum also to pursue other adventures within the company. We all have had our reasons.
I gave myself 2 golden rules when I started recruiting. Never lie to a driver, be open and honest and tell it straight, even if its hard to say or hard to hear. And always follow through with what you say you'll do.
I have tried to follow these 2 principles, and sometimes I fail, I am human. I am sorry that I am not Paul Ellens...... I do not think there is another human on this earth that can stack up to what he did for this company and the drivers. If you would like to try, we are hiring another driver recruiter.
I will leave you with the same thing I told Matt G, Chad N and the Sales Team...... To my knowledge, no one is leaving Magnum because of the recruiter!!! -
Another quick note.... Don't base your opinion of Magnum on 1 or 2 people in Operations or at Magnum in general. There are way too many good people that get thrown under the bus because of someone else's shortcomings. And that is 100% normal where ever you go.

Just in general, there are definitely some kick butt companies out there to work for. Usually hard to get in because they retain their people. Im digging the new job. Body is so sore not being use to the activity, I love it. We had breakfast brought in Friday morning again and the night before that, I got back to the barn to call it a day and walked into three 5ft subs in the lounge for us. Feeling spoiled.
