Yep, that's what I loved about my long wheelbase. Plenty of room for overhang. I didn't realize you dragged a flat, too.

Use to run 60+ everyweek to L.A. and before that everyday 60 to 80's on a contract run.

I'll dig up the picture and get it scanned, but I used to be on the System Transport pole fleet.. Hauled 60' to 75' regularly, but went as long as 95'. Those I took from Galloway, BC to Carey, OH. Had roughly 20' off the front of the trailer and 30' off the rear. I actually love loads like that.

I can only do 9 eet off the front and then 27 off the back. I agree though I love doing the overlength, byfar my favorite.:biggrin_25525:

I like 'em wide, long and heavy and I'll even consider bootlegging them, if it's close enough, but after a deal I put myself through several years ago, I don't care for high ones anymore. I certainly won't bootleg one of those again.

The thing that helped was a several years OTR and more than one trip with the 60 and 75 footers. I pretty much had the truck stops on that route that could easily accommodate me without too much hassle memorized.

If you have some sort of contract that lets you pull the same lanes as doubles and triples I can see it.

What I'm trying to figure out is if it is a worthwhile goal for just a regular Joe O/O to get one of those 190" sleepers with general freight. At SOME point you gotta drive in traffic through town, right? Is it POSSIBLE?
