    We did not have that issue in my time. It had to have changed the fuel sometime between now and 2001.

    I might have to take a look at the fuel and see how they are formulating it these days. (I don't think I wanna know. I like me my good Cetane fuel)

    Didn't use to see it because they took great pains to keep it from happening, but I saw it in farm tanks, as did my fuel jobber.

    The place I picked it up was a TA, and I didnt make it 30 miles before the filter plugged with black gooey slime. So much for preferred fuel stops that discounted their fuel.
    I always fill at high volume suppliers, something I learned when I started driving truck in 2004.
