I expect to see asphaltene where the engine is running hot idling for long periods and only 1 truck I've ever driven has had that happen. The trucks were idled by order of the shop when the temperature was very cold for an extended period.

The bio is thinned to a specification by high pressure blending with methanol, like pour point enhancer/antigel. I've not had trouble with it but have seen others have issues. Diesel fuel is formulated to a specification with pour point, cloud point, and cetane rating all to be within spec

Volvo reduced return fuel going back to the tank, supposedly. I don't know how effective that is at idle, but the aim was to keep the fuel in the tank cooler for more consistent performance.

I learned something today. Three different things actually.

I'm actually intimidated by your knowledge evident here. I have never ever paid any mind to the air intake as long the old school restriction gauge provided me with a value less than 7 and especially less than 5. Everything else went up the stack which only had a pyro on it and maybe a muffler.

I want an old Volvo with n14. This new computer crap is driving me insane. I have a 1968 M35a2 military truck for hobby. Original engine, original injectors and injector pump. Can sit not started for months with same crappy fuel and it will fire up. Never fails. I prefer old tech over new crap.

Build year is 2013. How about truck alignment? If truck equipped with ESP it will power down if G sensor sense lateral force. Check label on the visor for ESP system. Do you have it?

Yep and those little groved disks the sensors get their readings from on each wheel are gummed up pretty good

    Wow... Who would'a thunk???

My mind will be blown away, if the G-sensors turns out to be the culprit.

Well I have a boost leak at 2 I think I just ordered a tester to put over the turbo and pressurize the system. I also put Critter killer in the tank yesterday and it seems to be Lit running a little bit better with that stuff in there too
