Seek out construction related work. End dump, belly dump, bobtail dump truck/flatbed, look into shuttle work running yard dogs, cement mixer, check your local quarry's if you have any near you, most have home daily flatbed work or something similar etc. The list goes on, just dress like you're ready to go to work and start knocking on doors. The worst they could say is "no" then it's on to the next one. You knock on enough doors, someone will bite. Keep your nose clean, drive like your license depends on it (because it does) and that goes for your personal vehicle as well, get you some local experience that keeps your shifting and maneuverability in a rig fresh, ride out these next 9 months then move onto something better. I wish you luck.

You can rule out OTR. Your PO won't let you travel.
You're stuck doing dump truck and cement truck until you're off paper for a while. Ozark won't hire anyone who isn't off paper for at least 8-10 years.
I also don't know what you're on paper for. That matters as well. But unless you lie on your app, you won't make it to orientation if they don't want you. It cost them money to bring you on so they won't do it and then run your background. They'll get all the ducks in a row THEN call you for orientation.
For mine I had to fill out the app and they ran my background check, MVR record and other stuff then sent me for a drug screen. The day the drug screen came back as clean they called me to schedule my bus ticket. -
there ARE good jobs there, you just gotta weed out the recruitment crap from the big companies.
also try food warehouses for yard work/city driving. -

Just get your foot in the door , 3 to 6 months experience and your golden . A lot of these huge companies hire felons or drivers with criminal records.
