Soooooooo, you're not denying that you wear skinny jeans, pajamas pants, and flip flops while driving a big truck? No O/O here for the record.

I’ve driven Volvo’s, freightliner, and now it’s an International Prostar nanny truck.
I don’t own skinny jeans, and big ### headphones, pajama pants. As a life long surfer I own lots of flip flops, but I don’t wear them working.
To know any more you’ll have to buy me dinner and try to sweet talk it out of me. LOL -
@otterinthewater
Put your time in, take care of your ride as best you can.
Don't fall into the "must park at mega-fuel stop" don't eat roller dogs of death.
Walk around, don't stay in your ride 24/7, buy a lawn chair sit outside.
If you see an ol' hand Rollin tarps or fixing straps on his load. Ask if you can lend a hand. Don't offer any comments. Listen and learn.
You may run into one of us, you have the potential. May even buy you dinner for the help.
If your interested in staying in trucking, you can learn from the ol' Hands. No matter what they pull.bigguns, Feedman, otterinthewater and 1 other person Thank this. -

I'd say you are half way to that Chain Wallet. LOL! Just get rid of that Prostar. -
I’d get out of the Prostar if I could. It’s a 2019 with about 9000 miles on it. Still has that new truck smell. Full nanny truck though.
It’s like a wife in a bad marriage. Always squeaking and beeping and honking at me while it side seat drives. Also I swear it cries when I get out of it. It does this sad little air tank sigh, and then softly honks for like 2 minutes. Not making that up. Probably means something wrong. Ive called service and they said deliver the load and we will route you the shop...been like 2 weeks...hahahaa.
The good thing is boy is it slow, and it also has an automatic that shifts horribly.
I’m a lucky man. LOLBoxCarKidd, UturnGirl and J Rich Thank this. -
I love my chain wallet. Ive had the same since i began trucking. You are guaranteed to never forget your wallet or license with one. Mine is about a foot and the wallet itself is slim. Flexible enough to sit on. Dont get the bulky kind Petro sells.
otterinthewater Thanks this. -
Or just buy a wallet that fits shirt pocket. Had two the past fifteen. Bosca (brand).
Having run tankers for years — oilfield, refineries & rail-yards, — a wallet with chain means there’s a “driver” who not only does nothing but pop open bags of chips, he ain’t even smart enough to get rid of a wallet that’d be a hazard if indeed he had to do something.
Sorta like footwear worthless in the wet or climbing anything.otterinthewater Thanks this. -
bigguns Thanks this.
