Well another fine week in the books. I had Wednesday off due to the snow and ice storm Thursday and Friday was great if you like driving up and down I-75 in ice chuck-holes. Again no recks no slide offs and only lost one mud flap. I am quickly coming to learn most 4-wheelers have no clue. Well thats all for now...i know how much my Local Post means to alot of you,but i gotta go been busy lookin for a new place to call home out in the country. >--->

Whats up everyone ! they been workin me to death ! i got off at 3 pm today and came home and slept from 4-8 pm. wore out. tuesday i made a trip around the world.......or at least so it seemed. i went to richmond indiana into 5 inches of snow which is starting to be a bad omen because it seems that im attracting the dang stuff wherever i go. with the wind you could barely see. but i lived and was glad to get back to Ohio where it hadnt snowed any. go figure that. i talked to two over the road guys while in the intenational repair shop the other day (i lost a mudflap in the ice storm) and felt bad for them. never did get the name of the company they worked for but it sounded like they were out 5 weeks with 5 days off, of their choosing i think, not sure but they were talking how the pay stunk and how they were finding other jobs within 6 months. Its just crazy the way people get treated in this industry. Kinda just sad. at any rate im thankful everyday, bust my butt learning, and just do the best i can. i print out everywhere i go everyday and keep notebook files in my truck for the next time i go. do they want you to back in the dock then go inside. dont do anything till told....its wild how they all got their own lil ways about them. i backed into one dock and the lady told me never assume anything. i thought i was at the franklin mint. get over it already its just freight. i said yes mam next time ill park and come in here first. then she warmed up and offered to let me sit in the warm break room. it all worked out in the end. wud up sissy !

wud up everyone.....im sure everyone wished i was going to go away....not happinin. the job is going great. it will already be a month come this friday. wow the month sure did fly by. im not sure how the rest of the world is doing since im so rapped up in mine but if theirs a bad economy out there id like to see it cause im making 8-10 stops a day bustin my butt hustlin 15 min per customer (when possible of course) ran my first haz load today... kinda neat i guess. corrosive poly drums to 3 different stops. i have seen one fatal crash.one truck driver have a heart attack...( got pulled over thank god, hope he's ok ) fought the wind today.oh what fun. well the company is already tossing around the idea of me switching to tractor trailer. they want me too i think just pushin around the idea to me to see what i think. still home every night just less stops....longer rig. howdy do sis.

they've been workin me 50 hours a week......been to tired to get on the net. pretty much drive and run the warehouse as far as loading and unloading. we finally got a forklift last monday. thank god....im sick of using the pallet jack on those 2500 lb. skids. we had one load with 12 ft long skids of aluminum siding. we got it from one truck to another with only two pallet jacks and a drum cart on front steering........we did it but thats the day i asked for a fork lift.

i must bring life back to this post and get it back on page one............its been slow this week. only worked eight hours a day all week...aint complaining .... just sayin i can tell a definite slow down. to anyone who has been to a meijer warehouse........is it just me or are they slowwwwwwwwwwww. five hours monday to get offloaded. i guess they hand count every skid. i dont see how anyone makes any money paying lumpers....but then again i dont know whats being charged for the freight either. the lumper thing still just dont make much sense....you want to sell the stuff or not......why should the carrier pay you to offload your stuff? guess its over my truck drivin head. been going good getting most of my routes down in my head without looking at mapquest much anymore.
