Try Craigslist : one guy found a decent job there and he had 15 tickets. He said he applied whether he was qualified or not and made dozens of phone calls and left dozens of messages. Finally a one truck operation called him and offered him a job. He runs from the Northeast to California every week. -

Werner Enterprises will take you.
They took a serial killer/kidnapper Ricky Welch, who had recently run a weigh station while working fir CR England.
They also hired a sailor who had 3 DUIs while he was in the service.
Their recruiting and student departments are out of their minds. -
I work for a company now hauling sand and gravel at the moment, but the tractor I'm driving may have just blown a motor.. I have 3 months experience with tractor trailer and have had my cdl for 16 years, 15 years driving a wrecker, almost a year driving a tri axle dump truck... AnywayI have 2 speeding tickets, 1 in 2016, 1 in March of this year, both under 9mph over, 1 accident June 1st, 2018(total loss) in my personal car-- went to court.. Judge gave me no points, 1 accident in tractor trailer in July 2018 where I was loaded -79500lbs- when traffic came to a sudden stop and I side swiped 2 vehicles with my back trailer tires. I have 2 points on my license from the speeding tickets and the accidents are showing up on insurance.. Any suggestions on an over the road company that may hire me?? Not the worst mvr, but not the best either

@Jcpaigeii - where is your location; we need to know the hiring area you live in.

Western Express hired a guy in my area with a very recent FELONY DUI so I'm sure you won't have any trouble getting a job with them

@Jcpaigeii - recommend submitting the applications before any phone calls. This way, when you do call, you can say, "I'm checking on my job application." This gives the company a chance to look over the application before you call, then can get right down to business when you do call.Last edited: Sep 18, 2018
