    Hi,
My truck is hitted by another truck and the bumper is broken. We drop the truck in dealer collison center one week ago and still not started reparing.

Anybody know where we can do this work except the dealer in southern California?

    Thank you.

I made it to “My truck is hitted” and quit reading.

Search independent shops that deal in custom parts and call some junkyards.

    Good luck.

You never mentioned the reason that the dealer never started repairing the truck, so we’re going to assume that they have the parts and are too busy to work on it.

If that’s not the case, then any body shop may take just as long or longer if the bumper is being shipped from a far away land.

Im also going to going to guess that any body shop is going to get their Volvo parts from a Volvo dealer. So your options are

A: Sit at Volvo dealer and wait for them to get around to fixing the truck.

B: Buy the bumper and whatever other parts at Volvo dealer and take them to a shop who can get the truck back to you in a reasonable amount of time.

C: Buy a chrome or steel bumper from any custom shop who can install it for you.

D: Drive truck with no bumper and fit in with the other O/Os who have no mechanical skills.

I left out option E since it doesn’t sound like you’re willing or able to buy the bumper and install it yourself.

Here are six shops who have fairly good reviews in SoCal.
