Back in a motel tonight because when the shop work was done, my Qualcomm was no longer working and it was working normally before I went into the shop. Now the QC doesn't recognize when the key is turned on. Pulling the fuse for it and putting it back in makes it turn on, but it doesn't give you that warning message at all. Even with the motor running, it will turn itself off because it thinks it running on battery power.
Hopefully it's just a bad SAMCAB module. Yes, the other one was replaced, but that doesn't rule out a bad new part. Worse case is that when the old one shorted out, it damaged another part connected to it. -
Paper logs driver, hammer down FOREVER.MachoCyclone Thanks this. -

So, the shop just called. Even though they told they weren't going to work it some more tonight, they did and found the problem. It was a bad relay in the SAMCAB. So, I will just pick it up in the morning.

Same issue in my QC. I’m a master at pulling the fuse and resetting it.
It’s a pain...hopefully I get it to the terminal soon...but sitting there not earning bugs. -

Just saw this on Facebook. KW recall for engines that don't have the check and stop engine lights properly connected to the motor.

In other news. Good thing I don't have to deliver til tomorrow because the BOLs are soaked. I was barely able to pull the pages apart without falling apart. It's been raining here in Ft Worth and a 35° load. The bills soaked up all that moisture.
This is why I put BOLs in a ziplock bag, remove air from bag, then into a grocery bag and put them in the reefer door instead of just a grocery bag and inside the vent door.
