I've lived in my home for over 25 yrs, I bought it because it was 12 acres and I could get my truck in the driveway, I bought it and moved in using my truck and a reefer trailer. All the people on my county road were shocked but no one complained. However the past year the county put up a sign "No thru trucks" I questioned it and was told I am exempt under Grandfather law. Maybe you can look in to it.
County just weight restricted my road

you do realize by definition no thru trucks means if your destination is on that road and its the only way to get there your allowed to be on that road.
thru means that your using that road to get to a destination elsewhere with alternative routes available. -

Kind of like the interstates through Atlanta. If you have business inside the loop, you're OK to run through the middle...if not, you'd best take the loop around. -
I am guessing you get home and use these roads on a regular basis. If you did not see any notice of public hearing, or posting of an ordinance or zoning change, these changes may not meet the required protocols and are not valid.
Sipesh Thanks this. -
The Sheriff is the county enforcer, if they don't care then I'd keep going home.

A lot of people from California are leaving to more eastern states to get away from housing prices and taxes. You gotta fight this #### hard because once these ex Californians get in power there’s no turning back.. look at Denver, Houston, Dallas etc.
fordconvert and colorado18spd Thank this. -

I know it might be convenient to blame one demographic, but do people really think it's politically motivated when someone doesn't want to live next to diesel fumes and unmuffled jakes?
