Blown head gasket? Go to NAPA and pick up a block test kit, it will tell you if you have exhaust gas getting into the coolant system. Others will chime in...

My cat was a cracked head

All the extra liquid was fuel - pull a sample and see if it's flammable.

Poor man's way to check for exhaust gases.... insert a hose into the radiator and put the other end in a bottle of water.. With the engine running, do you have bubbles in your bottle?
