It’s a means to an end. It’s you doing what you have to do to take care of you and yours. Like Tina Turner said, “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”

Feel sorry for all the people who are afraid to reward themselves. Eating PB&J 3 times a day and no place to call home, and no one to call friend. That’s not you and me. We reward ourselves with food and drink. We have friends. We have a name. And we still have our Man Cards.

Today was a good day.

 

Other highlights of today include:

“oh we don’t/can’t make them that way,”
it shows a picture in the brochure...
and I was very specific when I first called n would have ended the convo right then n there May 15.

“Well we can’t hook the airlines if they aren’t on the front of the trailer”
This is a trailer repair facility?? Run a longer line

“We want you to be the dedicated carrier next year for the Long Island lane but you have to have 4 drop trailers here at all times to be the house carrier”
You just told me it’s 2 loads a day on that lane...y the f would I have that many drop trailers onsite for half as many loads??so I’m buying 6 to cover 2?

“Well of course the paint isn’t supposed to do that, but that’s what always happens”
If that’s what always happens: WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU KEEP DOING IT THE SAME WAY??

Or the guy that continually stood directly behind my trailer to back me into the unloading area, so I couldn’t see him, while he was giving hand signals. Fourth GOAL I told him “go stand by the office trailer and don’t move from there”. While across a 4 lane.


Some days all the winners come out.

That is the place where we went to get truck parts while custom combining in that area.

We would always stay in the super 8 motel on the east side of Pratt and park our trucks at the truck stop next door.

 

With that car, they’d call the movie “Smokey and the BootyBandit”

 

Sorry fellers I was behind the eight ball all day and don’t feel good to boot. Worked in the rain all day then worked on the dryer when I got home, after that I fell asleep on the couch. Welp the paint is scratched.

 

Sad thing is, I have my arm around Dana but I'm married to Cindy...... glad Dana is just like a sister, and my wife's best best freind! Lol I wasn't even thinking

I imagine a different brand neck might take a bit of getting used to.
