If you're looking for a partner, read my little essay below and then hit me up on with a direct message through this site!
I'm signed up for Community College CDL classes in Texas, should be ready to hit the road mid to late October. I've had no previous driving experience in semis, did drive a box truck once and handled it pretty well. I have a 2 1/2 yo who is my pride and joy and safety is my number one priority. I don't need to "drive my face off" and push my mind and body to the limit, but I don't mind driving all day. I've driven taxis, Uber and Lyft for extended periods of time, 14+ hours of straight city driving, day-in and day-out, so I know I can handle the 12 hr shift of OTR Team. I believe in being relentlessly positive, and hope to find a team driver who has similar situation in regards to family and priorities. Perhaps we could encourage one another to keep up a workout regime. I'm hoping to find a partner who, like me, wishes to work hard and then have some time off. If you're into any of the following, even more awesome: disc golf, backpacking, camping, enduro and mountain biking, boogie boarding, snowboarding, fly fishing, kayak sea fishing.... All activities I enjoy and hopefully as a Team Driver could sign op with a carrier who goes to a lot of regions, locales. Just spitballing now. Maybe even make it possible to make the last stretch a drop zone for one or the other who isn't driving to get a little bit of an unscheduled break to camp or whatever. Love the north country, Montana. Have a passport and would love to visit Canada. Contact me if you are into these things and trying out team driving!
My hard pass concerning partners would be folks into Infowars, flat earth ppl and the like. No offense, just not my thing. Life's to short to fret over conspiracies in my opinion. Peace!

Contact Lynden Transport & maybe they can team you with someone you're compatible with. Lynden hires Texas drivers and they have reallly long runs up into Alaska. I think they have some accounts in Houston and other Texas cities. Lynden does hire new cdl graduates. Below is a map of their freight lanes.

Still looking? I'll need a co-driver soon. The run is from Houston, TX, to Edmonton, Alberta. The pay is excellent, and home every weekend.
