I carry this for when my dog gets into the nasty and needs an emergency wash. Good for muddy boots as well.

If it is a large dog, put a dirty t shirt on him, a pair of dirty gym shorts, a goofy looking hat on him backwards.. walk him in and the fuel desk will think he is just another driver??

How often do people wash their dogs? Mine only gets it maybe twice a year....
I use a drop off/pick up service rather than do it myself.not4hire Thanks this. -
Back in the old days, the showers at Zimmers truckstop in Los Angeles were so bad even the Mexicans wouldn't use them.We were laid over there one weekend, and we found a poor old malnourished dog wandering around the parking lot.Fed him,but his coat and skin was awful, needed a bath. The community type showers there were upstairs from the fuel desk.We had someone distract the fuel girl clerk, and we carried this big dog upstairs, and put him in the shower, soaped him up real good with warm water. He loved it,and started howling to beat the band he was feeling so good, the whole truckstop could hear him!
snowman_w900, Swiss Mountain Dog, 7-UP and 3 others Thank this. -
My beagle gets washed once a month. All the places we travel, and walk theough..Swiss Mountain Dog Thanks this. -
Dawn dish soap can be used but it should only be used for emergencies like the dog is covered in oil. It will dry out their skin.
Also it can help with fleas, but not really. You have to leave it on for 10 minutes to suffocate them. They will find places to hide.
I’ve used a skunk remedy that I put in only about a tablespoon of dawn the rest is hydrogen peroxide and water. It does a real good job neutralizing the smell.
Mobile dog washes are expensive and should be. A 70 pound dog even a short haired one requires a lot of shampoo and water, not to mention the drying process. -
On 183 in Nebraska there's a truck/car wash that also has a dog wash in it. Its south of 80. I kinda put of the way though
