Hello, I tried searching here but found really old topics about this so I wasn't sure if there was new information regarding which fuel card is the best to use so I can get fuel at the pump without having to go inside to pay first. I am also not sure if this is a guarded secret or not. Thanks.
Which fuel card offers the best deals?

Personally, I'm an NASTC member so I have a Wex Fleet one card and pay member prices for my fuel.
mhyn and TruckRunner Thank this. -
I am happy with efs, but I am from Canada and it isn't as easy to get on nastc program. Good discounts at smaller chains, nothing to write home about if only the big 5 truck stop chains are all that shows up on your radar.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I've heard some pilot cards can offer 14 cents or so off the cash price.
TruckRunner Thanks this. -
That's garbage
Major chains are .30 to .40 roughly above comparable small chains. My card gives .10 flat rate off all the big chains. .14 is still a slap in the face. I get the fat discounts at Sapp and kwik trip and lots of ambests. Then I park at pfj generally, score a free shower from another driver and rarely spend a dime. I'm sure they must love folks like me.KB3MMX, AlexanderK, mhyn and 2 others Thank this. -
Rounded_nut Thanks this.

I was considering NASTC but the fact that they don't have PFJ scares me. It's convenient to have PFJ in-network since they're almost everywhere. I thought maybe Fleet One Edge is a better option since they also offer cost-plus for smaller chains and independents. Not 100% sure. It's better to see examples of their current prices. Can somebody share a spreadsheet from NASTC which they send to their customers?? And this Fleet One Edge discounts, can somebody share where to lookup their discounts?

I've had corporate discount cards leased onto companies and I've found I can always get the same price or better on fuel at small mom and pop truck stops with a credit card. The fuel cards give you up to 20 or 30 cents off usually at the most, but the big chains all have their fuel marked up 40 to 60 cents over the mom and pop stores so in the end it's garbage. The big chains also tend to have higher percentages of garbage bio diesel and big chain truck stops are always packed full of retarded new breeds who don't know how to pull ahead, back into a spot for a 30 minute break or even get dressed in an appropriate manner for work each day. I haven't waited in a fuel line in years fueling at the mom and pops and I get better cheaper fuel. Only way to go IMO.
Miroh, AlexanderK, 20 Mule Team and 6 others Thank this. -
Unless they get straightened out, I'll be dropping them and definitely telling people not to get their BS overpriced subscription and fuel cards.
