Finally talked to greg my new dispatch for my kraft run. From lowville,ny down to Allentown/Bethlehem. Today the first load on it is getting picked up. I'll be picking my first Wednesday morning at 0200. His plan is to have 4 trucks pull 5 loads a week and do resets at home on the weekends. We'll see whats happens...js

Make sure your trailer is clean, as in super duper no odors CLEAN. They will become hissy fissy and refuse to load you with a odorous trailer or a dirty one.

If that trailer is clean to where you think you can serve food on the floor plates then its probaly ready for Kraft.

    Puppage and desperado75 Thank this.

I've hauled a bunch of Kraft loads out of Champaign,IL and they weren't that picky. Maybe different warehouses are more picky than others.

    KDT and desperado75 Thank this.

Hauling cream into Kraft in Lowville, NY on tankers, I can say that EVERTHING better be in order and I mean EVERYTHING. I had to sit for 13 hrs because the shipper failed to put the time the tank was heat treated and it took that long for the shipper to fax the information to Kraft. Plus you need a letter of certification stating what was in the tank for the last 3 loads. But I have no problem with Lowville, if everything is "kosher".

Just wait til mid January when the lake effect snows blow in and drop 30 - 40 inches in a 24 hour period.
I sat at Lowville two days after picking up a load because the snow was too deep on the highways.

    desperado75 Thanks this.
