Yippee, nothing like a cruise on 5 to make you appreciate the less populated states.

LOTS of CHP. Truckloads. Packs. And they all had 4 wheelers. Just a great day.

So do you just stay in az or you go out everywhere? When you plan on adding more?

I roam when I have the energy. Regional or go to California and back a lot.

I haven't really wanted to do anything for over a month, but people are just throwing money.

I was going to come home, probably would be home tonight, but this agent i do a lot for would literally not take no for an answer, and offered up a big number, so now I'm on my way to Texas.

I could run someone just on the west coast for excellent money. With two days at the house a week.

Depends how much guys like to work.

One man is finishing up the qualification process through Landstar now. Then we're gonna go pick him out a truck. He wants to just roam though.

That doesn't sound to bad I wouldn't mind something like how you said just going to cali and back because it's not far but that's why I've never went otr because I have a family and I don't want to be away from them for a long time. If I had to layover 1-2 times a week that might be ok but not really looking to be out for a week at a time.

    Anything like that possible?

Well, if you have 0 verifiable the road experience, Landstar won't qualify you.

Have to have 1 year minimum OTR with verifiable winter driving.

Just thought of one that pays much more than what you make now; pays between $100K and $120K.
Trimac Transportation "Elite Fleet" and it's OTR.
If you're interested, give a call and ask about the Elite Fleet.

The OTR Elite Fleet job probably hires in places where the regional or local jobs don't.
@ethos used to work there and maybe will give you some tips on that job.
