Nope not by a long shot on the democrat. Think our last one was the worst president in United States history.

I never said "cheat" the boundaries of the tax laws are not cheating. Just for the heck of it I ran some prices on the ACA website. 100K salary my cost for family would be 1871 a month changed my salary to 35K and that price drops to 361 a month. Tax deductions....truck, per diem, huge list. You know that you can contribute up to 55,000 to a solo 401k. You can set your wife up with an IRA. You can also pay dependent children to do tasks for your business. All of these reduce your taxes and all are legal not cheating.

The tax laws were written to benefit job creators and people that provide housing for others.

 

Sounds great in theory but in real life it doesn’t happen like that. Your last line blows my mind actually.

I’ve created 12 jobs and don’t see any benefit whatsoever. I pay 1100/mo for my wife and I, and our son with a 12k deductible.

I can’t put a 2 yr old to work.

Google says I can contribute up to 18,000 to an 401k. I’m the kinda person who needs that cash on hand for when an engine needs rebuilt or two engines need rebuilt, I want to add a truck, add an employee, etc.

A 7 year old can wash truck, air tires and a host of other things. I know because my family owned a heavy equipment business and I did that and much more. Yes they also lost it in the 80's when interest rates were 18% for a house and twice that for business loans.

Yes it sounds good but I would rather put money into my business or my family instead of paying for government waste. I watch every penny I spend and try to get the most of each and every one. I don't like others spending mine.

I’m sorry to hear your family lost it’s business. I’m trying to make sure I never lose mine. Which proves my point I gotta keep ample cash on hand and pay the ridiculous ACA costs. Another factor is if I don’t have this insanely expensive coverage and I get in a bad accident, they will take my business and dozens of people who are dependent on its success will be hurting.

 

Hey I think the government should have no say in anyone's life. They should provide a legal system, infrastructure and military that is where they should end.

I do not believe that some politician (who by the way is not on ACA) is writing laws that effect the lives of those that voted them in. And yes Republicans have had all three branches for two years and it has not changed.
