Once I saw a big bus sized RV squeeze into a super tight gas station during a holiday with a billion people out and about.
How come you never see bobtails at regular gas stations?

I've done it, but filling twin 150's with the small nozzle took well over 30 minutes, using TWO pumps (parked in the middle and used hoses from both side). I've done it a lot with two ton trucks, and even then it's a hassle either turning the truck around, or sliding the hose under to get the other side. You do what you have to do, but......
Modern stations usually have at least 5HP pumps, but a lot of the old ones still have 3 or 2 HP pumps, and you'll be there forever.....

I fuel at the local circle k. I have to fill one side then move and fuel the other. Current price today is $2.89.
Can only bobtail in there though. They are not high flow handles but reLy dosent take that much more time. Once I’m out on the road I usually stick to the places off the Nastic list.jt road hammer and TruckRunner Thank this. -
the regular stations all have about the same canopy height its mostly to to the fact they don't have a high pressure pump will take an hour to fill up 1 tank and remember they also don't have satellite pumps either so can only do 1 tank at a time.

I’ve done it bobtail, but there’s no benefit to it in my part of the country. Actually better for me to go to the Pilot down the road price wise.
