Who in their right mind would L/P a 20 year old truck on a 42 month payment plan? Total payments just for the truck with your plan are $63,000 and that doesn’t include regular maintenance plus the second $20k+ in-frame it’ll surely need since the truck will likely have 2 million+ miles on it.
What you’re suggesting is worse than payday loans, buy-here-pay-here car lots, and sub-prime mortgages. At least with them you have a set amount you have to pay back, despite how ridiculous that number may be. With your “plan” there is zero upside potential and an unlimited downside for the poor soul who falls for it.
As for the trailer... $27,300 total payments is what someone should expect to pay for a two year old dry van. How old are the trailers you’re peddling here?
Oh, but I forgot the silver lining... no ELDs so your drivers can drive an unlimited number of miles! Well that changes everything, sign me up!!
What a ####ing joke

Renting a truck = 100% WASTE. Percentage of the load ..? = 10%, 20%, 30% WASTE!
Been a driver for about 18 months and own two trucks debt free and a 2019 trailer with a small loan. How long you been a driver? Oh dear ... Forgive me for offering a service that helps others!Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Who rents? No one rents long term. They rent because their truck broke down or their business increased faster than expected.
In both casrs renting is short term.
You also never answered the first question anyone in business ever asks. What value does your method add, vs. leasing via a well established company, vs. leasing via a Swift fleece agreement? -

I believe Land Star and Mercier rent trailers, or lease them?
To @DietCoke1013 can I lease a stainless trailer and a old freightliner pre 1995 with fresh rebuilt drivetrain, and a 400 big cam, or 12.7 series 60.
And I insist on dual straight pipes and many chicken lights.
So what do you think?
Bakerman Thanks this. -

And a bit ago when the other poster called troll, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
Now i have to agree with him. You don't want help with a business plan, you just want to start an argument. -
I was not kidding.
I'll even lease an old truck with a 6-92TA Detroit and 2 speed rear.Bakerman Thanks this.
