Yeah, I let others do those. Believe me, my phone will start ringing off the hook in a few weeks asking me if I want to run trees.

SteveScott and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

So bummmed, we normally do at least 10 to 15 loads per year NC area going to the Midwest. This year they are only going SE. I love treee loads. Yes, messy but nothing a trailer wash can’t sort out. The money is worth it.

Nope. Door slammer. It's all good when you work the averages rather than the spot. Because the spot will pop from time to time, but the averages will always be average .

I've seen CA weigh Station in Dunsmuir put guys out of service for being too wide hauling Christmas trees LOL.

A friend of mine took a dry van load from Portland area to Texas last year for $15k one way. I guess an order got messed up and they wanted it there asap. He said it took a couple washouts and hours of elbow grease and thinner to get all of the sap off of the walls and floor of the trailer. But he said it was worth it. My trailer is brand new. Maybe a rental trailer I would do it.

Yeah, $15 is an anomaly. More like $4 with 5 drops ;-)

I believe it was all Noble Furs. Those #### things sell for $200 a pop here in NorCal. Agreed it was an anomaly, but being in the right place and the right time is part of the game in any business.

Yeah, "Noble Furs" are way more expensive than "Noble Firs" :)
