Im always looking to better myself. Im really happy with my company and will be here for years to come i net 1200 a week average. Plus benefits. Does anyone know of comoanies where i can make more 1300 a week or more net average? Is that even realistic? Or am i pretty much already making top pay for trucking companies.

There are plenty of jobs that pay that, you just have to find one that is the right mix of a desirable job to do, with adequate benefits. You don't want to make $1,300 net per week and be miserable, like at my old job. Now I'm working my way back up the pay scale at my new place, but I'm much happier. And eventually I'll make even more than at my old job.

How much do you run? Where do you run? How long are you out? Decent truck? How much is operations on your back? Schedule?

It's all one man's poison really.

That totally depends on your tax situation. I gross about 1850 to 2k a week and my net is 2300 biweekly or 1150 weekly but I'm single no kids and live in California. I pay 1500 every 2 weeks in federal and state taxes alone, then there are 401k deductions, health insurance and fica and social security etc

You always look at gross pay. Depending on what benifits you elect to take from your employer, what you pay in taxes, and other deductions determine your net. We both may work at the same job and make the exact same gross income. If you take the single health insurance and I take family our net income can very by several hundred dollars per pay period. Start with gross and then figure what your net will be.

You can change that and improve your income by moving to a non state tax state.

Just work and be happy at your current place a while. In time inflation will continue on and you will have the same standard of living on 2000 net weekly.

I grossed 5200 this payday with 5 days of vacation on that 2 week pay period. So yes, they're out there. I work for a small operation in the oilfield. And yes, it's a W2 job.
