    The outfit I worked for in 68 had a 55 Diamond T and a 59 Westcoaster. Same cab. Not sure who made them but the steering wheels were huge!

    I think the Superliner had a bigger hood to accommodate a bigger radiator as motors got bigger.

    Not sure who made the steering wheels, but Diamond T used IH cabs until the late '50's, when White bought them out , then they used the Reo/White cab. In '67 they became Diamond Reo and used the Autocar/White "Drivers Cab".

    When Western Star was still
    White Western Star they used the Autocar cabs too. I used to see 40 ft flatbeds loaded front to back with raw cabs on their way to Kelowna BC till they broke from White in the late 70's.
    I hauled frame-rails to the plant in the late 90's
