Fact is not all us need a computer to simplify things for us. Maybe you do. I dunno. Dont care. You realize that theres guys out there hauling cheap $2.00 mile freight, just like you, that run paper. They are working the same hours, logging the same way as you. It's not like you really have 1 up on them like you guys portray. -
Like Obamacare. -
That's just a joke in and of itself. People that are complete idiots are making sure you're not being a complete idiot. LOL....its astonishing that guys dont care about that. -
Xeno124, nikmirbre, I glide 47 and 1 other person Thank this.

$2 a mile is good. $1000-$1500 a day sounds better. But I have low needs.
I spend less time fussing with logs and associated paperwork. Probably a couple days worth by year's end to be honest. I don't consider it one up on anyone, but I do consider it a step ahead.
These things are here to stay whether folks want to deal with them or not. Mercer requires them unless you were grandfathered in when they switched. That should be the end of the story as far as electronic logs goes for this thread. -
I don't mind the e log just the extra costs
roshea Thanks this. -
I hope you all sleep in this morning. That was a lot of late night bickering that was really uncalled for on all sides. A comment was made about Mercer's ELDs on a Mercer thread and a non-Mercer driver didn't like what was said. Ok, cool beans, don't join Mercer. Then Mercer drivers got offended... he isn't contracted with us, his opinion has nothing to do with the original comment, and yet you guys let him ruffle your feathers all night long. Hey, what y'all do on your break is your business, but I have better things to do than spend 6 hours of a break arguing a moot point. Again, I just hope you guys sleep in this morning.
Highway Sailor, Rickp, thelushlarry and 3 others Thank this. -
My omni tracks is messed up. It's not logging my locations keeps eroding out. Has anyone had this issue?
-
Hope it doesn't do what mine did. I had to call omnitracs and when they did the reboot it showed from time I started to the time I finished my day on drive time. Had to get log Dept involved ended with me having to fill out paperwork log and send it in.
