2013 KW T660 Headlight Nightmare

    Last week, two issues were found: One, the headlights themselves, "due to constant vibration" caused the internals of the headlights to come loose. (Manufacturer defect possibly?). And two, for the fuse issue, I had a portion of the wiring harness rubbing on the frame near where the frame meets close to the radiator, driver's side. The combination of these two made my life hell for weeks.
    On a side note, don't buy 'cheapies' off eBay. I did, in hopes that it would get me by...only to have them melt the reflective material where the blinkers/running lamps are located. SMH, #### luck I suppose.

    Idk if my last post had posted or not, but it was a combo of two issues: Headlight internals, due to vibration, cause some things to come loose (manufacturer defect?), and I had a portion of the wiring harness rubbing the frame near the radiator, driver's side...causing the fuse to blow repeatedly.
    P.S.- Don't buy eBay cheapos to get by...lol. Mine melted where the blinker/running lamps are located. Got my money back though!

    there are 8 fuses marked(that feed) chassis node in the fuse panel under hood. 2 of those circuits are for headlight circuits. one is for LH low beam & RH High beam, the other is for RH low beam and LH high beam. I learned this the hard way(I think it was done this way for safety reasons, not losing both hi or both low beams) those fuses are inputs to chassis node drivers for the subsequent outputs to those circuits coming out of chassis node. check that you have all your inputs (8 I believe) from that fuse panel into the Chassis node(dont recall but I think it may be connector "A". worst case scenario, if you cant find problem area, but your missing an input/output, you can overlay. chassis node is under cab, under drivers seat kinda-sort of.

    Can I get help on this issue. My voltage meter goes over 15 to 18 and is in the red. My head lights go out and so does the speedometer. I take out the shifter out of gear and it comes back on. Any ideas on what it may be?

    I have a circuit failure on the message center my headlight have been inop since this morning. In the shop now and the truck won’t restart. As well as the headlamps inop so are the signal light and brake lights. Just noticed that when you flip the headlights up the park lights also come on instead of the head lamps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Hadn't signed on in a long time...sorry for the delay.
    Yes, it turned out to be a wiring harness rubbing on the inside of the frame, driver's side, just opposite of the power steering gear box. It was rubbing a mount on the frame.
