I pulled tanks when I was there and lived just north of Denver and usually always got the same load to get me home. You see an end dump out that way every now and again too.

    blade Thanks this.

Yeah if you pull tank you can be home every other weekend sometimes, but usually 3 weeks out worked best. They could maybe work with you on dumps too. I know there was an oddball that lived in Wyoming and pulled hopper for them but he was a very odd case and stayed out for a month or two at a time or something like that.

Give them a call. Recruiting will be able to tell you which division will work best for your location and home time needs.

I remember when I asked about switching to tank, Coby talked a good talk about getting me home, and out of the year I was dragging a tank I only got loaded into the state three possibly four times.

Every other time I had to deadhead 6hrs out of Georgia, once I spearheaded from Owensville, In, and once instead of burning the fuel and time, I just left my truck in St. Louis and flew home. I ended up saving $200 in fuel.

Then when I told them I was quitting, they magically acquired th3se loads that were going from Utah all the way back to Florida.

I know this is A Oakley thread but you might wanna check into Atlantic carriers out of Atlantic Iowa when I pulled a tank for my previous carrier they used to provide us with sodium carbonate loads out of Colorado going to Illinois so I’m sure they should have freight going to Colorado as well
