This is VERY disturbing on many levels if remotely true and in the context in which it appears

Video shows toddlers in "fight club" at St. Louis daycare

What are we turning into as a society?

those alleged teachers need to permanently lose thier licenses or whatever they hold.

and should be blackballed from ever garnering another teaching job, in any other state. even if they change thier names, thier SS numbers stay with them. that's enough for any agency to track them.

I had Socker Boppers when I was a kid.
We wore each other out with em.
Taught us how to handle ourselves.

Saw on the news and thats sickening. I'm sure the knuckle draggers find the video entertaining. Like i have said before the USA does not budget enough money for schools/teaching, that's your future.
The problem is teachers in the USA are poorly paid as well the average teacher is hardly qualified. I know teacher working in Arizona and all she has is a high school diploma.
Here in Canada its 3 years post secondary education to teach. My daughter is teacher, 3 language degrees and her last post was $77K annually and only 3 years in the field

Not all teachers are poorly paid. I know two with ten and 14 years in who both make close to $70,000 in Houston ISD. Middle school teachers. One has a master's degree in education. Plus benefits and Summers off.

And they probably couldn’t do anything to get fired. It seems the more money teachers [and school districts overall] are paid, the less they perform and the worse student performance metrics become.

I don’t buy into the notion “more money will fix public schools” even a little bit. “Fix” in who’s eyes? I’d argue that today, schools are largely doing a fantastic job of producing kids who want to live in a world where government is the center of everything .... which is the intent of most upper level administrators if truth be told.

You're not wrong. The one is just not a good person for numerous reasons (adultery and drunken nonsense) and she truly cares not one whit about the kids. She'll tell you straight up that she is in it because of the retirement and summers off. (She's a relative, so we're forced to see her twice a year and that's more than enough)

I can remember when my kid was in elementary school and going to pick him up. Half of the faculty cars were new and relatively expensive brands. BMWs, Volvo’s, Denalis, etc. the same can be said of farmers. They talk up the game they’re not making any money but they’re driving new vehicles every two years, and have more money in the bank than most will earn in 10 years. Not all farmers. Just a good number of them.

I’m only faulting them for lying to the public and trying to present a situation that’s not very truthful. Of course we’d all like to earn more money but that doesn’t mean we’re working for pauper wages.
