Working at my current job is like being the lotion boy for the Swedish bikini team. Working for USX was like being the lotion boy for Hillary Clinton.

I'm in school right now and getting hired by USXPRESS...Ive heard nothing but lies. I'm so incredibly terrified to work for this company. I did sign a non-compete agreement also. Grrrr....eish I knew this before.

If you have no other driving experience to compare from it will soften the blow. Just don't sweat the BS & pretend your an RV'er driving a budget RV getting paid to travel around like most of their husband & wife teams do.
I made it there for over 6 yrs so 1 yr is doable if you remember the words from Sergeant Barnes in the movie Platoon, " take the pain, take the pain".

 

I been with them for 2 years and I can say I’f you want to be a company driver then you deserve to go through the fire before you can achieve the fame . The trucking industry is a monster and if you do not educate yourself first then you will experience these type of things . I started as a company driver after month number 4 of runnning 3000 plus miles a week I turned their truck in and leased a truck from another company and ran under their agent account. Went from making $900 a week to $3700 ..... learn the business first then make your move to progressing . You can’t expect for a company to pay you great and expect to meet your demands at every single request. They are one of the better companies that’s out here and trust me I can say I have had my fair share of their ######## to where I wanted to quit every other week ... but if you aren’t willing to work to be better in this business then these things will happen .... ijs

 

They let you test them all then you get to decide which ones you like the best that you feel makes you better safe driver

Your point? The site was created for people like him. It's original goal was for truckers to report on the companies. It still has that goal, plus a whole lot more.
For all you know he's been lurking and reading the site for the last couple years....

My point is he probably created his account for the sole purpose of refuting the O.P. —which happens frequently here. It’s not exactly a secret that US Xpress is a mega carrier with mega carrier mentality, and so it’s certainly within the realm of possibilities that this post created recently, was designed to quell any negative information about that mega carrier.

Could I be wrong? Absolutely, but I also could be right. He could’ve been reading this forum for years (which is highly implausible). Of all the posts lambasting US Xpress he picks this one to adress. I’ve also been reading this forum for years. (Since 2010) and I’ve seen people from big companies constantly come here to try and dilute any image damaging posts that drivers come here with. Any horrible experience that a driver decides to share here IS ALSO WHAT THIS FORUM IS ABOUT.
