    Have a 2013 VNL, with a D16 I’ve just bought near Grand Rapids, need it serviced and checked over before I run it down to Georgia, is there any good independent Volvo mechanics in that part of the world?

    I have a question. Did you do any research on the D16 before purchasing it? If you did.....why did you still purchase it.

    Not all D16's are boat anchors.
    Now I must admit my 08 Volvo 780 with the D16 was a money pit, if something could go wrong with that motor it did first year clean air.
    Now my 2012 with the D16 is good, very little problems with it, only thing major thing done in the motor was replacing cups and injectors with the updated injectors and cups. .

    i wasn’t asking for purchasing advice nor approval. For what I paid for it and what I need for it it’ll do just fine.

    If you have a spare moment do some reasearch on the GEN 3 D16. Aside from typical Volvo Injector BS, they have a good rep. This motor has already had them done in the last year.

    @Liquidforce, if you mention a Volvo on here you have to wade through all the haters. It's just a fact. Enjoy your great truck!

    To answer your question, I didn't know there were any good independent Volvo dealers ANYWHERE! If you find one please share.

    As this question on the Volvo section too. There are a few there you could ask. Nasriza is one for sure.
