Any one here have a recommendation for car hauling insurance provider? 5 car enclosed wanting to haul between Canada and the US. 8 years experience hauling cars. No damage ever. No claims. Truck is 13 years old with 600,000km on it.
I have been quoted close to $50,000, of which 13,700 was just for a garage policy??
My broker tells me only Nordic will cover anyone for the US hauls.
Was I dreaming when I hoped to get a policy for closer to $20,000?

Canada to US. It's the US travel that makes this expensive and complicated. -
Ah I'm not sure my agent could help, located in Ontario. I'll pm the info, maybe she has a contact out that way.

Its really hard to get insurance for car carries in Ontario. If u didnt have a fleet u need to pay $40k in one shot per truck, unless u have 10 trucks its going to be around $17k to $18k a year which is about $15k a month. They just making it harder every year to independent broker to run their own authorities
Tron Thanks this.
