Did you stay at pilot near Woodburn, OR in the past couple days by chance?

I definitely think driving a van is way easier. I give credit to the whole flat bed drivers, and like trailers without knowing all the different ones. Driving combinations is also harder than a van, but not by much. Those pups are way less stable, and definitely requires some situational awareness. Definitely dont want to hit the brakes hard with them or anything. Heck, the rear trailer wiggles just going straight down the road. I cant believe some people are able to back a set.

Let's not forget tankers either. Hauling totes was a good insight to what a full tanker would be like in turns, stopping, accelerating...

I've had phases where I felt bored with just pulling a box all the time. But much of the reason I love driving is being left alone and listening to audiobooks. Call it lazy, but I call it educational! I can sort of zone out and listen to the books.

Right now, my book of choice is "Redefining Reality: The Intellectual Implications of Modern Science". My background is I.T., so I'm part nerd! Super awesome book to listen to by the way!

    mattbh23 and Winnyf1 Thank this.
