Not a fan of cold, in case anyone forgot. Wasn't bad on my route today, first snow of the season around here and I only saw 2 in the ditch in my 430 miles today.
Best (worst?) part, I get to see Doc (91B20H8, aka RandomLettersandNumbers) more than I did when we were both pumpkin haulers! Having fairly distinctive trucks makes it easy to identify each other...

Why can I not upload a pic? Keeps telling me there's an error when I try...

 

Neither was my guy - when we woke up to an inch of snow and I said we were going out he said "nope, send me home".

Frankly, I'm of the same mindset. Got a run next week to Joliet, and that's it till next April.

I took delivery of my new truck yesterday. We only have one other Peterbilt and I've never driven it so I'm not too sure what to expect yet. I'm actually anxious to get running tomorrow since I only drove it around the yard yesterday. Definitely less room than the Volvo but fortunately I still pack my hotel bag as efficently as possible like I learned for Schneider orientation years ago. Nevertheless, it was amazing how much stuff i had packed into a daycab, half of it just being all kinds of PPE. Took nearly 3 hours to transfer everything over.
