I can say without question I make more with the semi now then I ever did with any of the previous set ups.
Also I can tell you the comfort factor of power, braking ability, Jake brake, and crawling in to a real bed and not the back seat of a pickup at the end of my day is also light years better then any of my previous set ups.
I would never return to the old way and also know many who have followed the same path that I did who agree.Markgc64 and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this. -

2. You still haven't addressed why you choose to handicap your business running under 26k.
3. Taking good paying loads to the middle of nowhere effectively divides your income per mile by 2. I take $4-6/mi loads to places like that all the time. It's nothing to brag about.
4. You're not getting that kind of mileage out of a 7.3 powerstroke. You might have once but not close to every time -

There were whole months in the summer that I averaged over 11 and I think the best ever was 14.2mpg loaded. But I don't go around saying I got that kind of mileage because the truth is that on winter fuel with a pickup backwards on #1 with a headwind or sidewind you will be getting 7-8 on that tank.LBZ, Hammer166 and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this. -
