Trailer out earning its money

 

I wish my trailer would just go out and make money. For some reason it always has to drag me along.

 

I try sending mine out, but the lazy piece of #### just sits there waiting for me to help it along.

 

Have you seen those binders that are just like come alongs for cables? You slide the chain through then ratchet it. It’s as fast as a snap binder (maybe faster) and I think it’s more dialed in like a regular ratchet binder. I cannot find a picture of it but it looks and works just like a hand ratchet strap except for chains. Tri city canvas sells them. Might save you a lot of time when you chain a lot.

WLL of only 5400 pounds makes it not worth it to be honest.

 

I don’t remember the brand I saw but didn’t know it was 5400. That’s disappointing. Never mind then.

 

I tried finding a few others but all were that limit that I saw

 

Most tie down points are only rated at 5500 anyway.
