    Ok guys,

I was initially anticipating it was just a bad bulb or simple ground issue, but here's what I have discovered so far.
I've replaced the corroded light indicators on the side of the trailer and a bulb just for GP. I did notice the initial bulb on the passenger side was a single filament, so I replaced it with a double filament, however I don't believe this made a difference for the issue at hand as it has been working fine for awhile.
On the driver side, the bulb was very corroded and so was the housing, so I replaced this all together.

When I disconnect the trailer everything on the tractor side works fine as it should. When I reconnect and turn on the headlights, the lights that should light with the turn signal indicator stay lit and solid without blinking on the tractor. After reading another post, saying that the volts are probably going to the signal indicator and causing other lights to be dim, I checked my trailer tail lights and 3 of the 4 are quite dim.

I pulled the relay for the trailer marker and for the first time since Ive been in the truck I've been able to hear the turn signal "Click" indicator from inside the cab. One problem fixed, but then the lights would blink on and off in sync with a click coming from the fuse/relay panel. This continued for about 5 minutes. Every 15 seconds the headlights would blink on and right back off. I am not sure what this indicated. After 5 minutes or so, the headlights are working again and I'm back to the initial issue.

Is it possibly a pig tail issue or the receptacle on the trailer which the pigtail connects? What should I check first to try to resolve the issue?

Start with the sockets and work your way back. It's feedback through a wet connector or socket. Could be and most likely is bad tail light on tractor. Used to be a common problem. Nothing serious.

Since you mentioned that, I went to inspect the lights again and my side signal light on the tractor is about 1/8 filled with water on the passenger side and on the left not nearly as much, but still noticeable It is a sealed piece, but I’m debating just drilling a hole to let the water out until I can purchase a replacement somewhere tomorrow.

Not sure if that’s where the problem is or not, but that definitely can’t help.
