What about the recent post on here about the trailer that almost Jack knifed because the automatic shifted on wet roads causing high rpms and almost made the trailer come around on the driver. That post made me say f#$& automatics.
And they suck to backup with.

    Coover Thanks this.

Shifted on wet roads? Yeah sounds more like the driver being negligent and blaming something else for his or her actions

I blame my parent’s and grandparent’s generations for it all. They ruined this country.

Might be, maybe not. I've had an auto come out of gear while making a turn, wouldn't grab a gear, luckily I was going fast enough to clear the intersection. Had to come to a complete stop shut off truck and disconnect battery to reset. Also autos are set to e coast down hills cuz some pencil necked weasel says it save 1/100th of a penny in fuel. Makes sense when its winter time In the appalachians right?

There is a manual mode for winter driving conditions.
