The SE regional has its positives of being home more often and closer to home, but I will take being gone longer for longer length of hauls and more drop and hooks.

Yeah, I remember my time with Cargo Transporters. They had more drop and hook in the SE, some in the NE, and some in the midwest. I guess it just takes some time to build it up. Getting unloaded here in Scranton/Lake City SC. Still counting my load. Doing my split sleeper break here since its going on two hours then, my honey run.

Picked up in Broken Bow going to Four Oaks, Nc. I am having to take a reset in Knoxville, I will get up about 0100 Sunday morning, drop this in Four Oaks and then bounce to the house for home time. I will be taking 7 days off, and going on a mini vacation with the family. I’m burned out and need to get out of the truck for a few days.

Tell me about being burned out. I have been out since 10/13, and not planning on being home until just before Christmas...I don't know how drivers who don't have a regular home to visit live in a truck all year(other than the occasional hotel visit)...

Can someone please tell me when it became socially acceptable to wear pajama bottoms in public? Three times this week I’ve seen drivers sitting in restaurants or walking around at truck stops. I can understand if you run into the truck stop in the middle of the night due to a bathroom emergency, but to be sitting at the counter in a restaurant and think nothing of it, boggles my mind.

That’s because everything is socially acceptable now, there’s no ethics anymore! :(

    Enjoy your time off RM!

I'm definitely showing my age 54. But
I've seen people wearing things in truck stops that I wouldn't wear to walk to the mail box. Of course all you have to do is look at what people are wearing in airports now days to realize that almost anything goes nowadays. I'm sure we're just old farts. Enjoy your well deserved time off.
