I never thought of team driving as "easy" because my body was exhausted much of the time. Good, restful sleep was hard to come by, even with a special mattress we had purchased for several hundred dollars.

Yes, the money was good, and we had runs that allowed us to make it home a couple of days every week.

However, one of those days would be spent catching up on sleep, then there's having to do laundry and purchase groceries, and getting prepared for the coming week. So having any quality of home time was difficult as well.

But even it was easy, I could not fathom teaming with a total stranger. Call me paranoid or overly suspicious, but I just don't believe people on the internet are honest about themselves and I would be afraid of getting teamed up with a Ted Bundy type of person. Or someone with bad driving skills, or unsavoury habits. Lol

Just a quick thought. Why not find a regional trucking company in the Washington area, and run solo? Washington has a lot of produce coming out of that area. Pulling reefer trailers is not that hard to learn in a couple hours. I use to run reefer many years ago, and would pick up in Spokane, Yakima, Kennewick, Ellensburg and so on to points south and into the Midwest. Is there a certain reason why running teams is so important? Just asking

I love my company pay is great, we get 200 each and a hotel for layovers.
Unfortunately I need a partner a lil closer to Florida.
We are a specialized carrier that hires specialized drivers.
The hiring process is crappy to go through but so worth it.

This post is from 2018 and the OP never replied to anyone in this thread.
I didn't go look for her ad, but her post count is only 2.So I'm going to assume she never replied to anyone in that thread either.
Not that I post much myself, this is actually my first post, and I've been a member here for 4 years.
I've been meaning to get around to posting stuff, just got busy :)

    dwells40 Thanks this.
