US Xpress $5K - $8K Sign On Bonus

It happened to me too

 

My company also has a sign on bonus. BUT, in really small print I don't qualify cause I was a new driver. If you get yours congrats but I wouldn't hold my breath. Be safe.

 

I am lucky in that my partner also does not have haz mat. We are splitting $5,000.00, and it works like this. You get $ 500 after delivery of first load, split in half, so you get $250.00 each. The remainder is paid in installments, which I don't have in front of me, but I do know at the 1 year anniversary, you will have been paid it all at that point.

I preach getting things in writing, so I got it in writing.

 

So as a solo driver I have 3 months until 6 months. Will I receive 5,000 big ones? I am fresh out of school and great driver. Im Making around 500 $ a week, an average of 7.49hour. Average work day is around 12-14hours, school debt around 6,000 $. Is it even worth staying if I dont get a bonus in feburary? I'm 21 I dont like making 7.49$ for an hour of my life, I have no life.., life sucks, I dont know this isnt what I signed up for this company needs to get ####ed so many thoughts of uncertainty. Ring ring should I call the attorney general of my state?

 

I got 2500 in 6 months out of those jokers. They generally pay what they say they will.

 

I worked for US express my first driving job, quit after a year for a 4 month vacation, went back as a new hire, quit 6 months later for another vacation, went back a third time as a new hire, quit for the last time a few months later. Got their max signing bonus and monthly tuition reimbursement each time .... the last bonus being $10,000 which I got most of...left before the last couple of payments kicked in. So yeah, they are good for signing bonuses. Had no problems with that.

 

Hope you get a bonus then find a job.
