good morning, I have been leased under a family members authority since July of 2018 and at the time of titling and tagging I was granted power of attorney to go in person and pay all necessary fees and obtain plates and IFTA in NC. after family member was informed yesterday that I will be starting my own authority in Jan (3 weeks) he blocked me from accessing the load boards. my question today is if im all ready to go as far as paperwork and only have to activate my insurance and get new tags in my home state (va) how do I go about obtaining proof that I paid sales taxes in NC if the mc owner is uncooperative BUT I still have POA? there has to be a way. otherwise I am out of roughly 1500 in taxes I paid plus the 1200 for plate itself in which I at this point dont even care for reimbursement on. just want my sales taxes verified. any solid advice would be greatly appreciated.

You gave POA to someone to purchase plates for your truck?
If so,unless you have a cancelled check with a notation what it’s for,or some sort of receipt from that person. It’s going to be your word against theirs. Raliegh will show the other person paying the bill.KingRaheem Thanks this. -

That makes no sense, this is a commercial vehicle and anyone who works for the company can do those things.
