I'm on the hunt for a day cab truck and I keep seeing dealer's snapping a shot of a cheap looking scanner that pulls ecm miles. Anyone know of a basic cheap scanner I can buy just to pull ecm miles to make sure the dash is correct on trucks I look at?

Ask for full print out of all ecm data while you are looking at a prospective truck. Dealer should do that for free.

The dealer's that I have spoke with have been happy to do it. I would like a cheap scanner to be able to pull the ecm miles myself though, as I've ran into a few circumstances at places that are unwilling to do anything like that. When looking at say an individual seller's truck. Anyone know of a scanner they can suggest?
