truck driver, going wrong way, dies in crash

Anybody figure out exactly where this was there in the Bloomington area and how this individual could have possibly ended up where he did?

 

im watching that right now on the news.

 

he had to have fallen asleep.

 

Quite possibly and this was more of a truck crashed and crossed the median into opposing traffic, rather than a “wrong way driver”. How many times do we see this every year? Those cable dividers are only good for cars and light trucks.

 

That’s one of hell of a sleeper to keep the truck moving and then turn onto a one way highway

 

How did only 2 people die?
It's still bad of course but a whole busload?
Don't school buses still forego seatbelts?
Guessing collision was below 45mph?

 

Probably a case where both vehicles managed to slow considerably before colliding. Perhaps some good evasive maneuvers by one or both drivers in the last moments before impact.

 

Someone jumped a median.
