Talked to someone in Ashland a couple of years ago and as soon as he figured out, from my experience, that I was up in age, he got real cold. I even went as far as to contact the EEOC, a complete waste of time. Perfect driving record, no tickets, no accidents, all endorsements including hazmat, but I am sure that my age turned DDI off. Fine with me, I found a much better job and stay out of the northeast.

Well I have been here at DDI for 2 years now as an O/O with Intermodal Division. Home every night and off every weekend. 1st year truck grossed $107k 2nd year $112k. DDI helped me with several major breakdowns by loaning the money and payroll deducting each week, not a lot of companies would do that. Overall I'm happy here, this year has been challenging due to CSX in Portsmouth,VA no longer keeping a surplus of UMXU boxes but still avg between $1,100-$1,800 a week take home. Overall a good place to work.

Sounds like DDI. A O/O that worked for them for over 14yr past away last week. They did not show to pay respect to this guy. I was told that they contacted the guy son to inquire about buying his truck. After being told that the truck is not for sale, they insisted that it should be since DDI help him purchase the truck. What a pack of dirt bags.

Ya you will work weekends and u will sit a lot to. Dispatchers and planners suck. They dont pay u correctly so u have to watch out. Kiss ur butt to keep u but then it goes right back to the way it was. I went through 4 trucks, bad equipment issues. Not a great start trust me. Im pissed.
