The only bright spot in a #### week is that the Outpost still has great food.

@BigBob410 you can have I-95 back, I'm done with it for a while.

Round trip thru DC and Baltimore at the speed limit both ways Monday and Tuesday. Only hitch was a big one southbound near Richmond at the 90. I detoured it like a boss and still made it to Kenly with 16 min left on the dial. Got off at the 104 and took US-1 down to the 98, guessing correctly that it would be backed up passed there by then. Then, while all the suckers were taking US-1 to the new jamup in Ashland, I took VA-30 the other way over to the 301 then a couple minutes later Richmond was in my rear view.

Working my way across Arizona.

 

Just dropped in Tacoma. Heading for Troutdale, OR for another drop. Then to Lebanon, OR and down to Modesto.

A nice 628 mile drive. I lucked out and beat the rain today until I got about 15 miles from my first drop. Stoked.

 

We must have been there around the same time. I did the same thing... almost. I was on 1 when I saw the wrecker with the Smith truck on the hook and jumped back on 95 and breezed right thru. Took yesterday off. Wasn't feeling it at all!! Heading down to Richmond and then off to Greer.

 

Long Beach.... isn't that where they filmed Gone in 60 seconds?? That's all I know about that. I see you escaped though!! Happy Trails!! Did you pass a bunch of our trucks on the way out?? Not our usual route but I guess chasing overflow is pretty lucrative!!
