Cookies Carrier ,Royalty Trucking in Butler Indiana

    I was leasing a truck from this company .They are by far the worst company I ever worked for in 29 years of driving.
    Cookies won't pay me the 3 checks they owe me . The payments on the lease were current, and on time. They came to my house to take back the truck .without notice they were going to do so. The money owed to me at this time is estimated to be around 9000 dollar .They also kept the money they had in the escrow account they had set up for the truck that came out of my earnings. I would ask them a rate on a load, but they wouldn't disclose to me. This leads me to believe that they were skimming off the top of the loads I was carrying. I have paperwork in my possession to prove everything I am saying. The Dispatch are rude and nasty to their drivers .This is not a driver friendly company at all.

    I run in and out of Butler, IN quite a bit. I've seen Cookies primary outbound customer. And I'm guessing, given the amount of freight Cookies pulls out of there that quite a bit of rate undercutting went on to secure that freight.

    I'm not impressed with the quality of trailers Cookies operates, and I find there sad, desperate attempts to recruit with advertising banners to be somewhat amusing.

    I would put the brakes on after them oweing 1 check, let alone 3 plus escrow.. Friend of mine just quit a small operations (10 trucks). Everything running smooth for 4 months then slow pay to no pay in last 2.
    I told him you don't want to deal with anyone legit or not that has no reserve to make payroll.

    sad part is...they made someone hate cookies.

    Hating cookies is un-American, against the laws of nature herself, and you should be shot, hung, an quartered(in whatever order) if you dare to not like cookies. It's also not cool. People who hate cookies probably stomp lil ducks, eat the souls of kittens and get randy with llamas.
