I am looking at purchasing a 2015 Ram 5500 Chassis cab w/sleeper, extra fuel tank, fully deleted, and 185,000 miles. If everything is as the owner says it is, is $31,000 a good price? Thanks in advance guys.

The deleted part is enough to run away as fast as you can. First of all it is illegal, second of all any reputable shop will not work on a deleted truck. Too much money, check out other trucks for sale at truck paper. Before any purchase, get a rig dig report. Like a carfax for trucks.
highwayMike Thanks this. -

I am thinking along the same lines. I am probably going to go with a new Ram 4500 chassis cab with all the bumper to bumper warranty they will offer. Priced with my bare minimums it'scoming in around $60,000. At this point that may also include a new flatbed installed. Haven't started negotiating yet but very soon.

You might want to think twice about that flatbed. You'll be considered a truck instead of a tractor like that, which will limit your overall length to 65' in some states. Makes pulling a 40' mini float over length in those States..

Was browsing trucks a week or so ago. You can get a better price on one of these Ram trucks. Within 20 minutes I had the salesman knocked down $17,000 below sticker. I was looking at a fully loaded Laramie. May not cone down that much on a cab n chassis but I’m sure you could knock them down to around $46,000/$47,000 on one. Look at the car lots, nobody is buying anything right now. That gives you the upper hand when negotiating. And don’t let them playyou on the interest rate going up. Tell them if Toyota can still offer 2.9 and 3.9 they can to. The salesmen at my local dealer hide when I go truck shopping.
Listen to what Singlescrewshaker is saying about that flatbed. If you decide you still want to ad a flatbed, go to Texas, or Oklahoma and buy one direct. Dealerships are marking those beds up $6k to $8k, or more.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
And when it comes to the destination charge listed on the window sticker, tell them to eat $%&#. There’s no way you’re paying it.
Here at my local dealer they’re trying to get $1,695.00 for a destination charge. I’m only 125 miles from the border. I tell them when i start seeing them paying Owner Operators that much to move a single truck, I’ll think about paying a little bit of it.
The dealership needs you more then you need them. Remind them of that.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
The dealership is 9.7 miles from the plant the truck is built at.....singlescrewshaker, Lite bug, stwik and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah, I just laugh at them.
