If he wants to meet “thugs” he should try Western Express. The one company where a thug actually killed somebody in the Nashville yard and then went and picked up a load!!
Now if that ain’t “gangsta” I don’t know what is!

It's not just May, all the big carriers are this way. When the economy heats up like it's been the past few years, alot of truckers go into construction, warehousing, daycab jobs, and other such fields. Make more money and not live in a fiberglass box. Then the OTR companies basically got to scrape the bottom of the labor barrel to find drivers. When the economy cools and these jobs slow down, more people go back into OTR trucking and then they raise their hiring standards.

I worked with a guy doing Jet fuel that told that he was a mule for a Mongolian gang in Fresno. It was his last day and he was going back to Mongolian to be with family. Tankers don’t get pulled in to the scales often, no one ever opens the fitting boxes, the fitting boxes are big but with jet you don’t need many fittings due to it being a dedicated trailer. Smart way to move a lot of drugs.

If he wasn’t already done I would have turned him in. I liked him before this but I can’t stand parasites who feed off the pain of others.

Just shows that if someone has Hazmat and TWIC does not necessarily mean they are clean it just means they haven’t been caught.

 

Was talking to a driver at the truckstop once. He ended up just flat out telling me that he was a convicted felon found guilty as an accessory to murder. Apparently he was out with two friends that got in an argument. Guns were drawn and the one guy shot and killed the other. The murderer told him to help him dump the dead body. The guy said “he was holding a gun when he told me to help dump the body. He just shot our other friend so I didn’t see any other option than to cooperate”. I think he made a decent point lol

 

Yes Frank , Willie Nelson, and definitely Keith Richards. There will probably be documentary produced and directed by Clint Eastwood.
